We are excited to introduce someone special to the D:STR:CT family. Meet Matías Mingorance, aka Mattim, a 26-year-old producer and dj hailing from the vibrant city of Córdoba, Argentina, and quite simply one of the most exciting young talents to emerge from the South American electronic music scene right now.

With releases and remixes on respected labels including Mango Alley, Onedotsixtwo, Aboriginal, One Of A Kind and Melodic Lab, Mattim has already earned the support and admiration of some truly heavyweight names, among them Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Mariano Mellino and Sebastian Sellares. He has shared stages with the likes of Colyn, Belu Clavero, Nico Irazoqui and CLOSED I, and graced the dancefloors of iconic venues including Open Air La Fábrica, Club Montebello and Salma. For someone of just 26, the journey so far has been nothing short of remarkable.

And now, we are absolutely thrilled to welcome him to D:STR:CT with his debut EP, Locked In (District 022). Two tracks, two dimensions, one very impressive statement. The title track showcases his beautiful melodic progressive house sensibility, whereas Bare Circuit goes straight for that unmistakable raw D:STR:CT nerve. Together they paint a colourful picture of an artist who seems to know exactly who he is and where he is headed.
